Australia's Jack Miller had his Moto3 world championship lead slashed after a disappointing outing at the British Grand Prix.
The Red Bull KTM rider finished sixth in Sunday's race, won by Spaniard Alex Rins.
Alex Marquez, the younger brother of runaway MotoGP leader Marc, was a close second, with Italy's Enea Bastianini in third.
Miller had hoped to extend his 23-point advantage at Silverstone, but instead had it cut to a narrow 13 points over Marquez with six rounds remaining. Rins is a further 16 points back.
"We suffered a bit this weekend, both with my riding as well as with set-up," the 19-year-old Queenslander said.
"Now we have to get back on a positive trend and focus and on the next grands prix, which will be in Misano (Italy) and Aragon (Spain)."
Miller started the race from eighth and, despite making up two places in the first corner, couldn't keep up with the leading group.
"We had the pace and we were there lap after lap, but in the end couldn't manage it," he added.
"I think one of the main problems we've had has been with the bumps.
"We have to look at what we did well, and then do it again.
"Maybe I have also to communicate better with my team, to describe problems better to get more time during the weekend."
Next up is the San Marino Grand Prix in Italy on September 14.
