Australian golfer Su Oh has qualified for the Women's US Open after taking out a two-round qualifying event at Shady Oaks Country Club in Texas.

Oh, who will turn 20 next week, finished the Texas tournament at even-par, one shot ahead of a three-way tie for second.

Her day wasn't without its drama though, after she double-bogeyed her opening hole.

Oh recovered to post two-under 69 to take the lead after the opening round.

The second round was a roller-coaster ride, mixing five bogeys with three birdies as the teen did just enough to hold on to top spot and qualification.

Oh was the youngest player to qualify for the Women's Australian Open in 2009 at age 12, before she became the world's No.1 ranked amateur in 2013.

She made her Women's US Open debut last year, but failed to make the cut.
