Aussie teen Sanders' big Hobart tennis win

Australian teenager Storm Sanders has sent a player ranked 195 places above her packing from the Hobart International.

Australian teenager Storm Sanders has easily beaten China's Shuai Peng, ranked nearly 200 places ahead of her, at the Hobart International.

Wildcard Sanders won through to the second round in her WTA main draw debut by breezing past Peng 6-2 6-2.

The 19-year-old is ranked No.234 in the world, 195 places behind world No.39 Peng.

The Queenslander was only given her wildcard entry when rising star and good friend Ashleigh Barty withdrew with injury.

Sanders will play Wimbledon semi-finalist Kirsten Flipkens, the second seed, in the next round.
