Aussie water polo team maintain run

The Aussie Sharks have taken down Brazil and Pakistan in the opening matches of the FINA Men's Water Polo Intercontinental Tournament.

The Australian men's water polo team have maintained a perfect record in the opening matches of the FINA Intercontinental Tournament in California.

Australia defeated Kazakhstan 13-7 on the second day of the competition with the victory coming a day after the Sharks downed Brazil 13-10.

Eight non-European nations including Argentina, Brazil, Canada, China, Japan, Kazakhstan and the USA are taking part in the tournament to secure a place in the World League Men's Super Final in Bergamo on June 23-28.

The four best teams of the Intercontinental Tournament will join the best European teams in Bergamo for the eight-squad Super Final of the 2015 World League.
