Australia's women's cricket team have recorded a 20-run win over Pakistan in the fourth and final Twenty20 match to clean sweep their limited-overs series.

Australia won all four of their one-day internationals against Pakistan last month and their T20 victory at Kerrydale Oval on the Gold Coast on Friday sealed an 8-0 whitewash.

After winning the toss and electing to bat, Australia made 3-139 from their 20 overs.

Meg Lanning was named player-of-the-match for her unbeaten 46 off 28 balls while opener Elyse Villani made 42.

Bismah Maroof (39) and Marina Iqbal (38) made solid contributions in reply, but it wasn't enough as Pakistan finished their 20 over s on 6-119.

Rene Farrell (2-20) and Delissa Kimmince (2-26) were the best of the Australian bowlers.

Ellyse Perry made 12 from 14 balls batting at No.4 but didn't bowl.

Villani was later named player of the T20 series for finishing as the leading run-scorer with 181 runs at an average of 60.33.
