Australia have enjoyed double success at the Rowing World Championships in Korea with silver in the Lightweight Men's Eight and bronze in the Women's Four at the World Rowing championships.
The Lightweight Men's Eight of Jack Price, Tim Mc Donnell, Tim Widdicombe, Ali Foot, Blair Tunevitsch, Darryn Purcell, Nick Silcox, Simon Nola and cox Tim Webster were beaten by Italy with the USA third.
A surprise bronze medal and a predictably strong performance by Olympic medallist Kim Crow were the other Australian highlights at Friday's Rowing World Championships in South Korea.
The women's four showed maturity beyond their years, staring down their more experienced opponents to hold on for bronze.
The foursome of Hannah Vermeersch, Alex Hagen, Charlotte Sutherland and Lucy Stephan are the current Under 23 world champions, but showed they're more than ready to step up to the next level.
The powerhouse US combination underlined their reputation by leading from start-to-finish, with Canada just tipping out the young Australians for silver.
All four Australians will back up for the women's eight.
Big things are expected of Crow at these World Championships, following her silver and bronze medals at the 2012 London Olympics.
And she showed why a gold medal is well within her reach by dominating her semi-final in the single sculls to cruise into this weekend's finals.
