Australia has eased into its campaign at the Paris Sevens rugby tournament with a 38-0 thrashing of minnows Brazil on day one.
Brazil started relatively strongly in defence, but ultimately weight of possession told as Australia ran away with the game after three tries in each half.
Coach Andy Friend says Australia will have to perform better on day two, with tougher matches against England and South Africa on the schedule.
"We're happy with the win. We were a little scrappy in the second half and we'll need to be more clinical tomorrow," Friend said.
"However, I did think our defence was good and there was plenty of intent.

"Make no mistake though, day two will be a tough one for us ... England looked full of running from what I saw against South Africa and we all know what South Africa will bring.
"They have one style of play that they carry out well and it's a style of play they try to perfect."
In the other game in Australia's Pool C on Day One, South Africa comfortably saw off England 24-5.
