Australia have won the toss and will bat first on a flat-looking pitch in Abu Dhabi as skipper George Bailey's side chase a three-nil sweep of their one-day series against Pakistan.

Bailey's men lead the three-match series two-nil.

Australia have rested in-form quick Mitchell Johnson, who has taken six wickets in the first two games, and offspinner Nathan Lyon is also out of the side.

Pace bowler Mitchell Starc and top-order batsman Phil Hughes have been included for the dead-rubber clash.

Pakistan have made four changes including dumping skipper Misbah-ul-Haq.

Umar Akmal and injured bowlers Wahab Riaz and Raza Hasan are also out of the side.

The four inclusions are Sohail Tanvir, Sohaib Maqsood, Umar Amin and Anwar Ali.

New skipper Shahid Afridi attempted to detail the changes at a pitch-side interview after losing the toss.

Afridi mentioned a few names and then looked puzzled.

"Who else? I dunno," he said, before walking off. Teams:

Australia: George Bailey (capt), David Warner, Aaron Finch, Phil Hughes, Steve Smith, Glenn Maxwell, James Faulkner, Brad Haddin, Mitchell Starc, Kane Richardson, Xavier Doherty.

Pakistan: Shahid Afridi (capt), Ahmed Shehzad, Sarfraz Ahmed, Asad Shafiq, Sohaib Maqsood, Umar Amin, Fawad Alam, Anwar Ali, Sohail Tanvir, Zulfiqar Babar, Mohammad Irfan.
