Aust-NZ level in lawn bowls Test series

The New Zealand women's bowls team have levelled their series against Australia, but the men have lost theirs after being whitewashed in the second Test.

The New Zealand women's team have fought back with a 4-2 victory on day two to level their three-Test lawn bowls series against Australia in Christchurch.

However, Australia have wrapped up the men's trans-Tasman series after a 6-0 whitewash in their second Test.

Jo Edwards led the way for the Blackjacks women by taking out her two singles matches against Chloe Stewart 21-10 and 21-14.

The triple of Mandy Boyd, Val Smith and Tayla Bruce added an 18-15 win, before the three teamed up with Sandra Keith to prevail in the fours 16-11.

The final Test for both the men and women is on Friday.
