Australia beat Wales in women's rugby

Australia will next face France after beating Wales 25-3 in the Women's World Cup.

Australia have beaten Wales 25-3 at the Women's World Cup in Marcoussis.

The emphatic win dashed Wales' chance of a semi-final spot, while Australia will next face a group decider against France.

Wales, who were smashed by hosts France in their opening game, were no match for Australia.

Sharni Williams and Tricia Brown scored tries as Australia built a 17-0 halftime lead, and Brown then added a second touchdown, with Wales replying through a solitary Robyn Wilkins penalty.

Wales wind up their campaign against South Africa next Saturday
