Guy Sebastian has been named the first ever artist to represent Australia at the Eurovision Song Contest.
The rhythm and blues and soul music artist got his break in the music industry by winning the first series of the television show "Australian Idol" back in 2003.
His latest honour follows the announcement last month that Australia has been granted a wildcard entry into the competition.
