A Ukrainian-Australian community group wants Australia to speak out more strongly against the Ukrainian government amid growing unrest.

The call comes after at least 18 people were killed in the bloodiest outburst of violence in Ukraine over the past three months.

Stefan Romaniw is the Chairman of the Australian Federation of Ukrainian Organisations.
