Australian journo happy over kidnap arrest

An Australian photojournalist who was kidnapped and kept in chains in Somalia has tweeted that "justice has been served" after one of his alleged tormentors was arrested in Canada.

Nigel Brennan spent over a year in captivity after he and Canadian freelance journalist Amanda Lindhout were kidnapped in Mogadishu in 2008.
The pair were released in 2009 following negotiations and ransom payments.

Canadian federal police have announced that Somali national Ali Omar Ader was arrested in Ottawa on Thursday following an investigation involving several Canadian agencies and the Australian Federal Police.
