Snedden is facing imminent extradition to Croatia to face three war crimes allegations, relating to his time as a paramilitary commander on the side of ethnic Serbs during the Croatian war in the 1990s.
Reports in Croatia suggest Daniel Snedden is to be tried in Split.
The lawyer named as representing Snedden is Darko Stanić.
Mr Stanic is reported to be an experienced criminal lawye who has previously defended Croatian nationals charged with war crimes, as well as Serbian former Yugoslav National Army soldiers and officials.
Media reports say one of the lawyers engaged to defend Mr Snedden withdrew from the case after receiving death threats.
