A second Australian has won a stage of the New Zealand Cycle Classic with Cameron Scott edging a bunch sprint on day two in the Wairarapa.
Riding for the Australian Cycle Academy, Scott completed the 120km circuit stage between Masterton and Gladstone in just under two hours 50 minutes.
He pipped Kiwi Luke Mudgway across the line in an aggressive conclusion as 94 riders in the 107-strong field recorded the same time.
Under-23 rider Nick Reddish retains the yellow jersey after crossing the line 15th.
Reddish, riding for Australian outfit Oliver's Read Food Racing, had won the first stage from Kiwi Hayden McCormick, who remains second on general classification.
Friday's third stage is a 136km haul from Masterton to Martinborough, leading to a crucial fourth and second-last stage on Saturday which features a steep and potentially decisive climb.
