Australia are set to welcome back a host of stars for Monday's ODI Tri-Series clash with India at the SCG.

Shane Watson and David Warner missed Friday's three-wicket win over England with hamstring complaints, but are likely to return to Australia's top order in Sydney.

Mitchell Johnson could join them as he overcomes his own battle with hamstring trouble.

And Mitchell Marsh said after his successful comeback - also from a hamstring injury - in grade cricket in Sydney on Saturday he was hoping to be included in coach Darren Lehmann's outfit to meet India.

Skipper George Bailey is due back after sitting out the Bellerive Oval encounter because of a one-match slow over rate ban.

Australia were forced to field something of an experimental team in Hobart, with Shaun Marsh, Cameron White, Moises Henriques and Gurinder Sandhu, none of whom are in Australia's 15-man World Cup squad, playing.

But Lehmann said on Saturday that is set to change, even though Australia have qualified for the Tri-Series final.

However, Lehmann indicated Australia could tinker with their batting line-up.

"Warner will be fine, he'll come back in, Watson we'll just see how he goes at training tomorrow," Lehmann said.

"We want to get everyone 100 per cent fit for the final and the World Cup, so there could be some changes again, and we could bat guys in different positions this game."

Johnson hasn't played since the MCG Test.

"He'll be close. He's been bowling and will be full training tomorrow and hopefully available for selection.

"He will be fine now, with that sort of break.

"I'm excited to see how he's bowling, and that's the exciting thing and hopefully he's back to full fitness and full pace."
