Austria holds two 'linked to Pairs attack'

Two men believed to be linked to those behind the Paris attacks last month have reportedly been arrested in Austria.

Two men who entered Europe with members of the group that carried out the deadly Paris attacks have been arrested in the Austrian city of Salzburg, posing as refugees, Austrian newspaper Kronen Zeitung has reported.

The two Frenchmen, of Algerian and Pakistani origin, are being questioned by French and Austrian authorities, the newspaper reported on Wednesday.

An Austrian Interior Ministry spokesman and a Salzburg police spokeswoman declined to comment. The Salzburg prosecutor's office was not immediately available for comment.
