Wests Tigers coach Jason Taylor has slammed talk his relationship with Robbie Farah is untenable as the pair spent the week getting back to business at the NRL club.
The Tigers returned to training last Monday with Taylor saying he and Farah had a productive few days together.
Farah's future at the joint venture remains unclear with the representative star given permission at the end of the 2015 season to negotiate with other clubs.
"As coach and player, I've coached Robbie through plenty of drills this week and we sat down later in the week and just looked at some video of training from some of the stuff that he'd been doing and a couple of things that we could work on," said Taylor on Sky Sports Radio.
Taylor scoffed at suggestions his relationship with Farah had broken down.
"I've heard a lot of talk about that it's untenable and one of us will have to go ... it's just not how it's going to work," he said.
"We'll work together and we'll get the best out of it, we're both professionals."
The recent signing of veteran Manly hooker Matt Ballin was expected to signal the end for Tigers stalwart Farah at Concord.
"Robbie was given the opportunity to look around and if he ended up remaining then he would always remain and that's where it's at," Taylor said.
"If Robbie stays, then Robbie will be in the plans and we'll work together.
"We were set to sign another hooker (anyway). If it wasn't Matt Ballin, then we would have signed another hooker.
"With just Robbie and Manaia Cherrington there, we were always going to sign another hooker."
Farah was linked with a move to Newcastle but that was shut down last week with Knights coach Nathan Brown claiming the rake wasn't in his plans.
