Fit again after missing the 2015-16 season with a serious achilles tendon injury, star forward David Barlow has signed a new contract with NBL club Melbourne United.

The 32-year-old Barlow returned to action earlier this month for the NBL All Australian team's series against China.

"I'm really looking forward to being involved with (coach) Dean (Demopoulos) and the team and everything the club is doing," said Barlow, who has represented the Boomers in two Olympic campaigns and two world championships.
