Batman 'will be Green this one or next'

Greens leader Richard Di Natale reckons his party will pick up the Labor held seat of Batman either on Saturday or at the next election.

The Greens remain confident they can snaffle the inner-Melbourne seat of Batman from Labor - if not on Saturday at least at the next election.

But Greens leader Richard Di Natale concedes it would be a "Herculean effort" to gain the 10 per cent swing needed to pick up the seat from Labor MP David Feeney, who made headlines after failing to declare his interest in a $2.3 million negatively-geared property.

"I'm confident and hopeful that if it's not at this one, it will definitely be at the next election," Senator Di Natale told reporters in Melbourne on Thursday.
