The House of One.

Germany's capital Berlin could soon become home to what's thought to be the world's first integrated tri-faith place of worship, and all under one roof.

The House of One is an ambitious initiative bringing together the city's Muslim, Christian and Jewish faith communities.

Without a minaret or any other outwardly visible religious signs, the building will house a mosque, synagogue and church connected by a shared central space.

And it's to be built on the historic foundations of Berlin's oldest church, St Peter's Cathedral.

Fundraising is underway in preparation for construction to begin after a competition to select the design.

The winning architect was Berlin-based Wilfried Kuehn and he's speaking with Kristina Kukolja.
