The Red Cross has banned people who ate frozen berries linked to Hepatitis A from donating blood for two months.

More than 300 people have contacted the Red Cross Blood Service to say they donated blood after consuming Nanna's berries products, linked with the recent cases of Hepatitis A.

Although Hepatitis A is unlikely to spread through a blood transfusion, the Red Cross has quarantined blood donations from people exposed to the berries prior to giving blood.

Public Affairs Officer for the Red Cross Blood Service, Jemma Falkenmire, spoke to Will Mumford.
