Bieber's helper admits drug possession

A member of Justin Bieber's entourage on his recent Australian tour has been given a 12-month good behaviour bond for cannabis possession.

Justin Bieber's executive assistant on the pop star's recent Australian tour has been handed a twelve-month good behaviour bond after he was busted with cannabis at Brisbane Airport.

Terrence Reche Smalls pleaded guilty via phone to two charges of importing border-controlled drugs with a lack of commercial intent in the Brisbane Magistrates Court on Friday.

Cannabis plant material and resin weighing 13g was found in 24-year-old Smalls's bag when Bieber and his entourage landed in Brisbane on November 24 last year, on the first stop in the star's Australian tour.

The court was told Smalls, who no longer works for Bieber, initially denied owning the drugs but defence lawyer Jeff Hunter said his client accepted responsibility for packing the bag.

He was given a 12-month good behaviour bond and must pay $1000 if he breaches it.
