Bieber's LA house sale stalls over bill

Justin Bieber will be unable to close the sale on his LA mansion until he forks up $US85,000 in repair damage.

Justin Bieber's plans to sell his California home have been put on hold over allegations he owes $US85,000 ($A94,229.81) to repair damage to the property.

The Baby star moved out of his Calabasas mansion in January and relocated to Atlanta, Georgia after numerous encounters with the police regarding alleged loud parties, speeding in the gated community and "egging" a neighbour's house.

Bieber had reportedly sold the property to reality TV star Khloe Kardashian for $US7.2 million, but a new report suggests the deal cannot close until he pays off a bill for repairs.

Executives of a construction company have filed legal papers claiming they carried out $US85,000 worth of work to fix damage to the house and the bill still has not been paid.

The sale will not go through if the lien has still not been paid by next week, according to TMZ.com.
