They have had more than 9.5 milion likes on Facebook, over 1.5 billion Youtube views, and have collaborated with some of the world's best-known musicians.

Now, K-Pop sensation Big Bang has begun its tour of Australia, landing in Sydney on Friday, and holding its first sold out show in Sydney.

The band was formed nearly 10 years ago and in that time has amassed a major international following.

This is the first time they have toured Australia, with eager fans lining up outside All Phones Arena in Sydney overnight, hoping for a prime position in the mosh pit.

Eleanor Spring, who had been at the stadium since dawn, said Big Bang represents the best of the K-Pop genre.

"It's Big Bang, which is like the biggest K-Pop group in the world pretty much. They're finally in Australia and it's something we have all been waiting for pretty much since they debuted."

Banishri Suppiah first learned of the band through her school friends.

"They told me, listen to these guys and I was like sure," she said.

"They work so well together and have a great dynamic."

The band will play another sold out show in Sydney tonight before another show in Melbourne this week.
