A drive-by shooting and two tattoo parlour fires in Melbourne's southeast may have links to outlaw motorcycle gangs.
Six shots were fired into a home in Beaconsfield overnight but the owner, believed to be a member of the Rebels bikie gang, is not co-operating with police.
"It was quite a few (shots) and it was in succession," resident Anton Bezuidenhout told Nine News.
Cardinia Sergeant Phil Jury said four people were in the home at the time, including two children.
The bullets just missed a 43-year-old man sitting in the family room.
The two tattoo parlour fires, in Seville and Lilydale, are also being investigated for possible links.
"The fact they've all occurred on the same night, we're exploring that possibility," Sgt Jury told reporters.
Two bikie gangs call nearby suburb Pakenham home, including the Rebels and Outlaws.
It is believed the two tattoo parlours in the Yarra Ranges are linked to the Rebels.
The owner of the Seville tattoo parlour, who gave his name as Greg, said he was angry but not surprised that his business had been burnt to the ground.
"How will I feed the kids? I'm not happy," he told Nine News on Wednesday.
He declined to comment on speculation of a connection between the fire and outlaw motorcycle gangs.
Sgt Jury said if police were able to confirm links to bikie gangs, he would be concerned about more reprisal attacks.
