US actor Billy Crystal has scored his first full-time TV gig in 30 years in a new series titled The Comedians.
The show is set behind-the-scenes at a late-night sketch comedy show. Crystal will play a veteran comedian who is paired with an edgier newcomer, portrayed by Josh Gad.
Crystal is set to write and executive produce the series, which is slated to air in the US next year.
The show marks Crystal's first full-time role on the small screen in nearly three decades after his one-season stint on Saturday Night Live in 1985.
