Foreign Minister Julie Bishop denies she complained about her treatment by security staff at Melbourne airport last year.

Ms Bishop was responding to reports in Fairfax Media that she was the source of a complaint that sparked an investigation which concluded she was unfairly singled out by security staff and led to a worker being dismissed.

"I didn't raise this, I haven't been talking about it. I will just let it pass," she told ABC television on Sunday.
