She treated her rivals with disdain in the 1200 metre Group One Sportingbet Classic at Morphettville, delighting the sellout crowd of 30-thousand.

Black Caviar was one of the best in the early stages, but jockey Luke Nolen settled her in third place under a tight hold until they neared the home turn.

At the top of the straight, Black Caviar showed the acceleration which had carried her to nine previous Group One wins and strode well clear of her rivals and to the cheers of the crowd, careered away to easily beat Sistine Angel with Power Princess third.
