The Grenadier guards are famous for let’s face it, being incredibly stoic, but one guard seems to have decided Buckingham palace needs a touch of boogie fever after being caught on camera dancing.

Don't blame it on the sunshine... Don't blame it on the moonlight... Don't blame it on the good times...

A tourist has captured the guard on video in a remarkably non-traditional marching routine which includes pirouettes, pauses and some unusual step dancing.

During the guard's amusing antics you can hear the tourists giggling and questioning if this is normal behaviour.

"Have you seen them do that before?" asks one.

The video which was posted to YouTube has received more than 550,000 views.

A spokesman for the Ministry of Defence told The Mirror newspaper the matter was under investigation.

“We are aware of the video. Anyone who is found to fall short of the Army’s high standards can expect to face appropriate action.”
