Debut Gold Logie nominee Scott Cam is a longtime fan of Australian television's night of nights.
"Some people are too cool for school for the Logies (but) I like the Logies. I think they're great fun," The Block host says.
Cam is also nominated for the most popular presenter Silver Logie, on top of The Block All Stars and The Block Sky High being in the running for most popular reality TV program.
"I have been watching The Logies since I was a kid so it is quite surreal," Cam says.
He has attended the past 14 Logies nights during his 15 years with the Nine Network.

Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries star Essie Davis is another Gold Logie first-timer, while comedian Andy Lee, last year's winner Asher Keddie, The Project co-host Carrie Bickmore and Home and Away's Stephen Peacocke round out the six nominees vying for the top gong.
It's Lee and Peacocke's second nomination, while Bickmore is hoping for third time lucky and Keddie is shooting for back-to-back gold.
Bickmore says she is always shocked to be nominated for the Logies.
"When you do your job every day, I think sometimes you forget that ... people are watching at home," she says.
"Sometimes when it gets to Logies time I'm like, 'Oh, that's right, people watch the show and they like it, that's good'."
Julia Morris, who plays Gemma Horne in House Husbands, is among nominees for the most popular actress Silver Logie.
She says her mother found a Logies acceptance speech Morris wrote when she was nine years old in a box of bits and pieces from school.
"I've obviously had delusions of grandeur for a long, long time," Morris says.
She hosted the nominations announcement in Melbourne on Monday with Chris Brown, who is best known for his show Bondi Vet and also co-hosts The Living Room.
"I am always delighted with the male talent that runs through this gorgeous country," Morris says.
"But when we do read out people's names I think, 'Oh, and talented as well - not just hot'.
"But unfortunately now that I'm 45 I've moved into a creepy older lady area when I talk about young people.
"Young people are starting to look like my friends' sons - that's when you know it's creepy."
Pop star Kylie Minogue will present the Gold Logie and perform at the ceremony in Melbourne on April 27.
