Carlton have recalled former GWS midfielder Matthew Kennedy in one of four changes to the side thumped by Fremantle.

Cameron Polson, Aaron Mullett and Jarrod Garlett are also into the team to face Collingwood at the MCG on Sunday.

Kennedy made his debut for the Blues in round one and has played five games this season after switching from the Giants.

Sam Kerridge (groin), Pat Kerr (hip), Nick Graham and Darcy Lang (both dropped) depart the Carlton side that failed to kick a first-half goal in a 57-point loss to the Dockers.

The Pies recalled youngster Flynn Appleby to replace Daniel Wells.

The veteran midfielder will likely miss the rest of the season after suffering a foot injury in the Queen's Birthday win over Melbourne that required surgery.

Nathan Buckley's sixth-ranked side will look to extend their run of four wins, while the last-placed Blues are out to score their second win of the season.
