Australian duo Lauren Boden and Tristan Thomas have advanced to the semi-finals of the two 400m hurdles events at the world athletics championships in Moscow.
Boden was drawn in a tough heat of the women's event, but held her nerve to finish fourth in 55.37 seconds - her fourth fastest time ever.
It was more of a close-run thing for Thomas, who was sixth in 49.80 in what turned out to be the fastest of the five heats.
Both semi-finals are scheduled for Tuesday night.
