Body found in Bondi water: NSW police

A male body has been found in the water near Bondi Beach, with examinations underway to determine if it is missing 20-year-old Endicott Ackerman.

A man's body has been found in the water near Bondi Beach.

The body was found soon after 8am on Saturday, about 450 metres east of the beach.

It is yet to be identified and examinations are underway to determine if the body is that of 20-year-old US student Endicott Ackerman, who went missing after jumping from rocks at Bondi Beach on Monday.
