Body found near Byron Bay railway tracks

An unidentified body has been found on disused railway tracks at Byron Bay, in northern NSW, police say.

A body has been discovered near disused railway tracks in northern NSW.

Detectives were called to the scene on Tuesday just before 1.30pm when the body was found near Jonson Street in Byron Bay.

The body has not yet been identified and the cause of death is unknown.
