Body found on NSW Hunter beach

Police are in the process of recovering a man's body found on the shore of a Newcastle beach.

A body has been found on a rocky beach in the NSW Hunter.

Police discovered the man's body at Susan Gilmore Beach in Newcastle on Friday morning.

It is unclear how he died and police rescue are recovering the body.
