Body in Melbourne paddock after fire

Police are investigating after a body was found in a paddock on the outskirts of Melbourne after a fire.

A body found in a paddock on the outskirts of Melbourne was located just after a fire.

The body was found in a paddock on Cooper St in Epping, near a Bunnings hardware store, at 3.10pm on Friday.

Emergency Services were called to the fire and found the body.

Police have yet to identify the person or their cause of death.
