Body washes ashore on Sunshine Coast beach

A body has washed ashore at a beach near Noosa, two days after a 19-year-old man disappeared in rough seas nearby.

A body believed to be that of a teenager who vanished in rough seas has washed ashore on a Sunshine Coast beach.

The body was found about five kilometres south of the Teewah Beach camping area on Tuesday afternoon.

Police believe the body is that of a 19-year-old man who went missing while swimming at Noosa North Shore on Sunday.
