Andrew Bogut had his first double double of the 2013-14 NBA season as Golden State registered their third straight victory, a 102-88 home triumph over Utah.

Bogut, who had four double doubles during the Warriors' playoff run last season, grabbed 11 rebounds and 12 points on Saturday as Golden State improved their home record to 5-0.

The Australian centre was one of six Warriors to reach double figures in scoring, Klay Thompson leading the way with a game-high 25 points in a wire-to-wire win for the hosts.

Derrick Favors finished with 17 points and seven rebounds for the Jazz, who fell to an NBA-worst 1-10.

Meanwhile, Indiana's perfect start to the season came to an end in Chicago with a 110-94 loss to the Bulls, who were led by Luol Deng and Derrick Rose.

Chicago got 20 points from Rose, who returned to the line-up after missing a game with hamstring soreness, while Deng had 23 points in the Bulls' fourth straight win.

Roy Hibbert had 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Pacers, who were the first team in 11 years to win their opening nine games of the season.

Also on Saturday, Miami beat Charlotte for the 13th straight time, the Los Angeles Clippers improved to 5-0 at home by rallying past Brooklyn, and Dwight Howard's big fourth quarter steered Houston past Denver.

Miami's LeBron James scored 30 points to lead the Heat to a 97-81 win over Charlotte.

With Mario Chalmers and Ray Allen missing and Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade struggling, James came up big for the Heat, shooting 13 of 18 from the field and having seven assists in his eighth 20-point game this season.

Kemba Walker had 22 points to lead the Bobcats, who shot 35 per cent from the field.

Los Angeles' Blake Griffin had 30 points and 12 rebounds as the Clippers beat Brooklyn 110-103.

J.J. Redick added 26 points for the Clippers, who have not lost to the Nets since 2010.

Andray Blatche and Mason Plumlee scored 19 points each for Brooklyn.

Houston's Dwight Howard scored 18 of his 25 points in the fourth quarter, including 13 of 19 free throws, to lead the Rockets to a 122-11 win over Denver.

Cleveland's Kyrie Irving scored nine of his 41 points in overtime to help the Cavaliers beat Washington 103-96 and snap a three-game skid.

In other results, Dallas downed the Magic 108-100 to win at Orlando for the eighth straight time, while Atlanta won 110-90 to send New York to a fifth straight home loss.

Minnesota beat Boston 106-88, New Orleans thumped Philadelphia 135-98 and Oklahoma City trumped Milwaukee 92-79.
