Australia's Andrew Bogut has scored eight points and pulled down 11 rebounds as his Golden State Warriors thrashed the New Orleans Pelicans 112-85 to extend their win streak to an equal franchise-record 11 and go top of the Western Conference.
The Warriors overcame a slow start and 11 first quarter points from Pelicans guard Anthony Davis to run away easy victors.
Davis scored 30 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for the visitors but it simply wasn't enough.
Klay Thompson (23) and Stephen Curry (19) combined for 42 points for the Warriors, but it was the team's defence that got the job done.
Golden State pulled down 18 offensive rebounds, of which Bogut had four.
New Orleans' inability to handle the ball also hurt them. They gave up 17 turnovers, four of which were steals by Curry - and the Warriors made them pay with 26 points off turnovers.
Golden State coach Steve Kerr hailing the effort from his side as among the best since he has been in charge.
"It's the best game we have played in a long time," Kerr said.
"Our focus was guard the three-point line and keep them out of transition. Everything went to plan and our defence was very good.
The win a special one for Bogut, who had Australian Make-A-Wish Foundation guest, 20-year-old Trent Frost courtside.
"It's just a brilliant, inspirational story," Bogut said of Frost, who is now in remission from T-Cell acute lymphoblastic leukaemia.
At Madison Square Garden, Cleveland heaped more misery on the struggling New York Knicks as Kyrie Irving dropped a season-high 37 points to lead the Cavaliers to a 90-87 away win.
In a scrappy match, Irving who made the game-winning lay-up with 10 seconds to go happy to simply get the win.
"The only thing that matters is we got `the W," Irving said.
"We came here and handled business. It may not have been the perfect game but we still got it done."
His best performance of the season giving him reason to smile, but Irving gave most of the credit to his teammates for giving him open looks at the basket.
"I give credit to my teammates for setting great screens tonight, they got me in a great rhythm throughout the entire game," he said.
Elsewhere Portland Trailblazers beat the Indiana Pacers 88-82, the win taking them to third overall in the West.
