Bondi beach remains examined by police

A member of the public has found possible human remains on the shoreline of Sydney's Bondi Beach.

Remains that washed up on Sydney's Bondi Beach are being examined by police to determine if they are human.

A member of the public found the remains, believed to be bones, on the Bondi shoreline near the skate park on Tuesday night and alerted police.

"The remains will undergo forensic examination to determine if they are human and how long they might have been in the water," police said.
