Boomers beat Ukraine on Euro tour

Australia have beaten Ukraine in the second game of their European tour with the Boomers winning 75-60.

The Australian basketball team scored a 75-60 win over Ukraine in the second game of their European tour in Lithuania.

The Boomers raced to a 32-7 lead at quarter time, which was extended to 49-21 at halftime courtesy of 19-of-27 shooting from the field (70 per cent) led by an impressive showing from Utah Jazz draftee Dante Exum on Saturday.

Exum, who overcame a minor ankle sprain against Finland, had nine points in the first half, finishing the game with a team-high 14 points to go with three rebounds and three assists in 19 minutes.

Australia have a rest day before suiting up against their current hosts, Lithuania on Tuesday morning (AEST).
