Bordeaux has stayed in the race for a European spot by defeating Lorient 3-2 in the French league.
Henri Saivet put the hosts ahead with a downward header in the 22nd minute before Lorient forward Sadio Diallo beat goalkeeper Cedric Carrasso to level in the 26th.
Bordeaux restored its lead in the 36th when forward Cheick Diabate volleyed into the top corner. Substitute Guillaume Hoarau made it 3-1 with a low strike in the 72nd - his first goal in the league since November 2012 when he was then playing for Paris Saint-Germain.
Lorient centreback Lamine Kone pulled a goal back by flicking home a corner in the 84th.
Bordeaux moved into seventh place, five points behind Saint-Etienne in fourth place.
"We put ourselves in danger today," Carrasso said. "We gifted two goals but the most important thing is that we won."
The game was initially scheduled on February 9 but heavy rain flooded the pitch and forced the postponement of the match.
