Tim Henman has lost a Wimbledon popularity contest after asking the public to decide whether he or Andy Murray was the biggest tennis bore.
Four-time Wimbledon semi-finalist Henman welcomed twice former champion Murray as a guest to the BBC television studio at the All England Club.
And Henman told viewers there was a question he wanted to put to Murray.
"If there was an opinion poll and the public were asked who do they think is more boring, me or you, who do you think they'd go for? It's tight isn't it," Henman said, during BBC One's coverage.
Murray said: "It would be tight. Can we do it? Can we sort that out?"
Presenter Sue Barker said a poll would go on the BBC Sport website, and the outcome made unfortunate reading for Henman.
Responding to the question 'Who is more boring?', 65 per cent of those who voted plumped for Henman, with Murray scoring just 35 per cent.
Murray, who conquered Wimbledon in 2013 and 2016, decided on the eve of this year's tournament to sit out the event and continue his recovery from hip surgery.
The 31-year-old Scot plans to return to action at the Citi Open in Washington DC at the end of July, before building up to a grand slam comeback at the US Open in August.
