Boy, 13, ticketed for driving unlicensed

A 13-year-old Victorian boy has been issued with a ticket for unlicensed driving after he was pulled over in a rural town during an RBT check.

A 13-year-old boy has been caught behind the wheel of a car during a routine RBT stop in a rural town north of Melbourne.

Police who stopped the car on Echuca Road in Mooroopna about 7.15pm on Friday were shocked to find the boy behind the wheel with a woman in the passenger seat.

The woman said she had let the teen drive because "he wanted to drive and I didn't want to listen to the nagging". The boy was issued with a ticket for unlicensed driving.
