Boy caught filming women in Sydney toilets

A 15-year-old boy will face court after he was allegedly caught filming a 47-year-old woman while she was in a toilet cubicle at a Sydney cinema.

A teenage boy has allegedly been caught filming a woman with his mobile phone under a toilet cubicle door at a Sydney cinema.

The 47-year-old woman saw a hand holding a phone creep out from an adjacent cubicle at the George Street cinemas on Thursday night, so she stomped on it and stopped the boy from leaving, police allege.

The 15-year-old boy has been charged with five counts of filming a person in a private act after police discovered other videos of women in bathrooms on his mobile phone. He's been refused bail and is due to appear at a Children's Court on Friday.
