Boys in hospital after five metre fall

Two young boys are in hospital after falling from the window of a Sydney home through the roof of a carport and onto a washing machine.

Two young boys have fallen five metres from the window of a Sydney home after overbalancing while waving to neighbours.

The boys, aged two and four, crashed through the roof of a carport onto a washing machine at the Eastwood home.

They've been taken to the Children's Hospital at Westmead.

Police say the pair were waving at neighbours when they tumbled out of the second storey window.
