Brambles reaffirms profit guidance

Brambles has reaffirmed its guidance for a full year profit of between $US1.055 billion and $US1.085 billion.

Logistics giant Brambles has reaffirmed its full year profit guidance, despite slower-than-expected sales growth from its pallets business.

Brambles chief executive Tom Gorman says the company remains on track to record an underlying profit of between $US1.055 billion and $US1.085 billion ($A1.37 billion and $A1.40 billion) for the 2014/15 financial year, which is up to 13 per cent on last year.

But the company slightly lowered its full year revenue guidance, due to slower-than-expected growth in its pallets business during the March quarter. It now expects to grow revenue eight per cent for the year, compared to its previous eight to nine per cent estimate.
