Grammy-winning singer Brandy has ended her engagement to music executive Ryan Press.
Brandy, best known for her hit The Boy Is Mine, got engaged to Press in 2012 and claimed the relationship had restored her faith in men, but it has now been revealed the pair has parted ways.
A representative for Brandy tells Usmagazine.com, "They are no longer together. The engagement is off, but the friendship is still on.
"They decided to take a step back and reevaluate the relationship... Brandy has a daughter and she still wants to be married and have more kids but she is working on so many other things right now.
"They haven't ended things on a bad note and they still speak all the time."
Breakup rumours began circulating in February when Brandy, whose full name is Brandy Norwood, hit the NAACP Image AWards ceremony without her engagement ring.
The raspy-voiced singer has an 11-year-old daughter name Sy'rai with her ex, music producer Robert Smith.
