Influential guard Cedric Jackson says he will be honoured to play his 100th game for the New Zealand Breakers during this week's two-game NBL road trip to Australia.
US import Jackson will become the 12th Breaker to reach three figures when he plays against the Illawarra Hawks in Wollongong on Wednesday. They face Perth two days later.
Jackson takes irrepressible form into his milestone game, coming off a triple-double of 14 points, 14 assists and 10 rebounds in their 89-81 home win over Townsville on Sunday.
The 29-year-old says the century has snuck up on him and is an honour when considering some of the players to have achieved the feat.
"They are some great names and great players. To be mentioned alongside them is humbling," he said.
"The number of games is not something I have been keeping track of but it is a pretty big milestone for me to play all those games for one club. I feel like I have accomplished great things with this club."
Jackson is among the Breakers' finest players in their 13-year existence, helping steer them to titles in his first two seasons, in 2011/12 and 2012/13.
He left for Europe the following season - when the Breakers floundered - but returned for 2014/15 and made it three crowns from three attempts.
